Alto Valle, Rio Negro - Argentina

From the Patagonian oasis of the Upper valley of the "Rio Negro", this Pinot Noir represents the best variety of the region. This wine was the first Pinot Noir made using casks in Patagonia back in 1999. 

Rich on the nose with ripe red fruits aromas followed by notes of spices and tobacco.

This medium body Pinot Noir is delicate and shows a velvety expression on the palate, with notes of vanilla & walnuts accompanied by a lengthy finish.

Aged in new French and American oak barrels for a period of 12 months, followed by bottling ageing for an extra 6 months with an ageing potential of 6 years.
