Valle de Uco, Mendoza - Argentina

Each wine from the "Single Vineyard" range comes from a specific vineyard, allowing for a deeper exploration of the unique qualities of soil, climate, and altitude of each wine.

The diversity of Mendoza terroirs, and Alta Vista's dedication to reveal the unique expression of each terroir, has allowed them to be the first winery in Argentina to produce Single Vineyard, since their fist vintage in 2001. 

The "Albaneve" vineyard is located in "Campo de los Andes - Valle de Uco" with the vines planted in 1999and wines from this particular vineyard are known for its wildness and intensity, due to the deep soils of this vineyard. 

Deep ruby appearance.

The nose offers aromas of berries such as blueberries and tropical notes reminiscent of guava jam. The palate is powerful, broad, and refreshingly acidic. Notes of ageing such as fresh butter and vanilla are also perceptible.

A very intense Malbec of superb quality.

100% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months (2/3 new barrels, 1/3 second use barrels).
