After extensive research in various regions of Argentina, François Lurton decided to plant his vineyards in the Uco Valley, at 1,100 mts above sea level, at the foot of the Andes mountain range.

Bodega Piedra Negra has 200 hectares of virgin land acquired in what would later become the "Los Chacayes" Geographical Indication.

Thanks to François Lurton's experience acquired worldwide, he immediately implemented environmentally friendly viticulture and produced extraordinary wines here.
