Otto Bemberg arrived in Argentina from
Europe with the idea that, over time, Quilmes would become the most important beer in Argentina.
It all started in the suburb of "Quilmes" where he started his brewery, and named it in honour to that neighbourhood of Buenos Aires.
More than 130 years later, Quilmes became the most consumed beer by Argentines, becoming part of popular culture, and it laso has presence in over 20 countries across the world.
