Ribeira Sacra, Galicia - Spain

This 100% Mencía grape "Galician" wine is made with 35 to 80 year old vines, and it really expresses the mineral essence of the area by blending grapes from different soils found on the banks of the Sil River.

An "Atlantic wine" that is mineral, saline and aromatic with great acidity. 

Notes of sweet and savoury spices on the nose with flavours of tart fruits.

Soft tannins on the palate followed by a lengthy finish resulting in a delicate wine with excellent length.

This wine is aged for 4 months in French oak barrels.
