Penedes, Catalonia - Spain

This wine is made from hand-picked grapes grown of “Sumoll” 50 year-old vines, an indigenous Catalan variety in danger of extinction which makes this wine a ver special one!

Aromas of red berries, black pepper and herbal notes on the nose. Juicy and fruity on the palate, with pomegranate, sour cherry, and mountain herbs flavours to it. The wine showcases a marked acidity which contributes to its freshness.

Fermented and aged in large chestnut barrels with indigenous wild yeasts, followed by 1 year in the bottle before its release.
