70% Corvina & 30% Rondinella from Campo Grande, in Campiano. 

Hand picked, followed by pressing and maceration with skins for 6 days in October. In January the skins of "Amarone" are added to start the second fermentation. 

Ruby red dark appearance. The nose is powerful and fruity, with aromas of spices being very present.

The palate is juicy yet tannic and with great structure. A very complex wine with a lingering finish.

Aged in barrels for 18 months, followed by another 8 months in the bottle before release.
