From the heart of Rias Baixas, Lagar de Costa is a family run winery well known for its quality high quality Alabriños.

Straw-yellow appearance with greenish hue.

Medium to high intensity on the nose with notes of aromatic herbs such as thyme & rosemary with a light aniseed touch. Notes of coconut accompanied by hints of white flowers along with tropical and stone fruits aromas.

This high quality Albariño is fresh and elegant showing very good structure on the palate. Creamy & slightly buttery, plenty of volume and length and with the classic salinity characters from Rias Baixas Albariños. 

Produced from the winery own vineyards with the average vine age being 30 years old.

Aged in 500 litre oak barrels (50% French oak and 50% Hungarian oak) for 6 months followed by another 6 months of bottle ageing.

Limited production of only 1,300 bottles per year.
