It is always a pleasure to work with Johannes & Alina, even more when we get to share a long lunch in Melbourne as we did the last time they visited Australia.
From the first hectare with which EWALD KOPP began in 1996, the winery has now grown to 32 hectares of select vineyards in the best locations in the Ortenau region.
Their exceptionally diverse soils significantly shape the character of Kopp wines, along with the other factors, such as the particularly distinctive microclimate of their vineyards, which clearly shows in the great sensory diversity and distinctiveness their wines.
