Our Most Popular Varieties
Malbec
Native to France and one of the six Bordeaux varieties, Malbec was introduced to Argentina in the mid 19th century but it was in the 20th century when locals discovered that it grew really well in the unique conditions of Mendoza and became Argentina’s national variety.
Characterized by deep colour and intense fruity flavours with velvety texture, medium to full bodied with well-balanced tannins and natural acidity, Malbec is unique and loved around the world.
We are proud to call ourselves “Malbec ambassadors” in Australia and we love to represent it through our exclusive relationship with top wineries in Argentina.

Torrontes
Argentina’s emblematic white grape variety which is believed to be created from the fusion between “Criolla” and “Muscatel of Alexandria”
There are 3 different varieties of Torrontes but the most popular one is the “Riojano” which is mainly produced in the “Cafayate Valley” of Salta, home to the highest vineyards in the world.
Torrontes produces intensely aromatic wines with floral and fruity notes on the nose and a fresh mouthfeel with a citrusy finish on the palate.
We would love to help you discover this unique variety through our Torrontes portfolio so please get in touch with us to find out more about it.
Vermouth
There is nothing like sitting down, relaxing and enjoying “La hora del Vermut” as they do in Spain with a Vermouth on ice with some olives. Don’t miss out on this versatile classic that is making a massive comeback!
Vermouth is an aromatized and fortified wine made out of Red or White wine base, which is infused with spices, herbs & aromatic bitters to then be fortified to raise between 15% and 21% of alcohol.
It is probably the best aperitif you could ever have, and it is also used as an ingredient in many traditional cocktails.
We work with 2 of the top producers from Reus and we truly believe that no one should be missing out on “La hora del vermut” by tasting the extraordinary Vermut de Reus in any of the varieties that we offer.
De Muller – Vermut
Modern processing equipment, stainless steel tanks, foundress and barrels of American and French oak, as well as oak barrels from different backgrounds, are part of this winery.
Since 1850 Iris Vermouth has been prepared following the traditional formula, based on an infusion of roots and aromatic plants that after a period of maceration, its extract is mixed with a selection of wines, resulting in this vermouth of aroma and characteristic taste.
Miró – Vermut
Vermouth Miró was founded in the city of Reus in 1957 specializing in making the traditional "Vermut de Reus".
Their products have an exquisite and exclusive aroma & flavour because since the beginning they kept on their old family recipe, the “Formula Original”. A fine selection of Alpine and Mediterranean aromatic plants mixed with the expertise of four generations of winemakers are their best secrets.

Cava
Cava is Spain’s Sparkling wine and it is made by applying the same traditional method used to produce Champagne, but with native Catalan grapes like “Macabeo”, “Parellada” and “Xarel·lo”, giving Cava a distinctive taste and a very unique identity.
Cava is made in many regions of Spain, but the majority of Cava production comes from Catalonia, more specifically from “Penedés” and it can be white of Rosé.
Cava means “Cellar” or “Cave” and it is named after the stone cellars in which the wine is aged.
This beautiful Sparkling wine is classified into 3 different categories depending how long the Cava has been aged in bottle and as they do with Champagne, the style of
- Cava: At least 9 months of bottle ageing.
- Reserva: At least 15 months of bottle ageing.
- Gran Reserva: At least 30 months of bottle ageing.
Cava is also qualified depending on its “dosage” which is the amount of sugar in grams per litre, Brut Nature being the driest one going then through Brut, Dry, Semi-Sec and Sweet.
We are crazy about Cava as we believe it can be a wine to save for a special occasion and also a perfect option for an everyday drink, either as an aperitif or just some casual bubbles with friends which will make you experience the “yeasty” flavours you usually find in Champagne but combined with a clean fresh palate provided by its minerality.
