Valle de Uco, Mendoza - Argentina

An iconic wine from La Azul to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the winery. With only 2,000 bottle produced, this is certainly a wine that is very hard to get.

This 100% Malbec from Tupungato, in the Uco Valley of Mendoza is hand harvested selecting the best grapes at 1,100mts above sea level.

At sight we perceive the velvety, clean red color.

In the nose we perceive jams of red fruits, herbs and ripe peppers, assembled with aromas of vanilla, chocolate, butter and smokey characters.

In the palate the tannins are pleasant, full-bodied & complex with refreshing acidity and a long finish.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by another 12 months in the bottle before release.
