Valle de Uco, Mendoza - Argentina

This limited edition of Chardonnay from Piattelli Vineyards is a barrel selection from the winery finest estate lots in the Finca San Jose, located at 1268 meters above sea level in the foothills of Tupungato, Mendoza.

During the growing season, the days are warm and nights are very cool, allowing the wine maker to preserve the natural acidity of the grapes getting fresh tasting and intense aromas.

The harvest was achieved manually; the transportation is prepared in boxes of 18 kg and once in the cellar the grapes are selected and then pressed. 

The nose shows a harmonious blend of ripe fruits, subtle oak, and crisp acidity in combination with aromas of tropical pineapple, citrus blossom, and vanilla.

The palate unfolds with layers of creamy peach, pear, and a touch of butterscotch, leading to a lingering, elegant finish. Crafted with precision and care, this limited edition Chardonnay showcases the best of Piattelli's winemaking artistry, making it a delightful choice for those seeking a refined and memorable wine experience.

The juice is fermented in French oak barrels and aged for six months. Limited production of only 2,000 bottles for this vintage.
