High Country, Victoria - Australia

Midas is a tribute to Victoria’s High Country, the unmistakable character of its terroir and the breadth of amazing grapes that grow there.

A distinctive expression of the High Country, this Chardonnay & Albariño blend brings together the texture and subtle richness of Chardonnay with the vibrant freshness and aromatic lift of Albariño. The High Country’s cool climate and elevation help preserve natural acidity, while the Australian sunshine gives the wine generous flavours of citrus, white peach and stone fruit.

The result is a beautifully balanced white. Fresh and lively on the palate, yet rounded and textural, with bright citrus and stone-fruit flavours leading to a clean, refreshing finish. A modern Australian interpretation that sits somewhere between the richness of Chardonnay and the saline freshness traditionally associated with Albariño.
