Midas is a tribute to Victoria’s High Country, the unmistakable character of its terroir and the breadth of amazing grapes that grow there.

Fresh, vibrant and beautifully aromatic, the 2025 Midas Albariño showcases the lively character of this much-loved Spanish variety. Expect enticing aromas of citrus and white peach, complemented by delicate floral notes. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with ripe stone fruit, zesty citrus and a subtle saline minerality leading to a clean, lingering finish.

While classic Rias Baixas Galicia’s Albariño is shaped by a cool, maritime climate, giving wines a distinctly saline, mineral and citrus-driven character, the High Country expression brings a little more generosity and ripe-fruited intensity.

The cooler elevation helps retain freshness and natural acidity, while the warmer Australian sunshine encourages vibrant flavours of white peach, nectarine and citrus. The result is an Albariño that combines Galician-style freshness and vibrancy with the fuller, more expressive fruit character of the High Country.
